FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the piece(s) in question, and the customer's requirements. Due to some unscrupulous customers, payment is cash only. With 50% downpayment to begin work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At some point we have to begin by talking on the phone or face to face. In this fast-paced culture we live in coupled with the propensity of social media and smart phones, talking to one another has become difficult for both parties. However, I cannot assess your needs based on answering a few questions on a form. If you don't know what you want your finished furniture to look like or cannot articulate it, then send me a picture or two of an example. I promise I will do everything to make the decision making and transaction as smooth at possible, but it has to start with a phone call.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than having painted and refinished furniture most of my life, I am a graduate of Texas A&M University, where I spent 4 years in the Corps of Cadets. In addition, I have served in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 2003. Lastly, I have worked in the Defense Industry as a Systems Engineer for 20 years. All of these experiences translates to attention-to-detail, a penchant for structural integrity of your piece, and willingness to do whatever it takes to make my customer satisfied. We want your repeat business and your word-of-mouth to others.
