Introduction: I am a certified notary signing agent serving central Alabama. I am federally background screened and GLBA compliant, so your privacy is my top priority. I travel for your convenience 7 days a week until 9:00 p.m. I am trained and experienced to handle any type of notarization you or a family member may need, from a power of attorney or signature by mark notarization to full loan signing appointments. What types of customers have you worked with?
I am a full service Notary Signing Agent, so I may go to one appointment and notarize a type of Deed with four signatures. And my next appointment may be for an individual buying their first home ; in these cases I typically recieve an assignment through a mortgage broker or lender. I am responsible for printing, flagging anything in my power to help the signer have a smoother closing appointment. I supply the signer with their own set of documents to look over, I may take down any questions they have. I sign, notarize and package their documents and it is my responsibility to safely and securely return them to the issuing agency as soon as possible.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To check out anyone's background before they meet an agreement. I have no problem sending a potential customer my certification with my photo so they know their servicer is legitimate, and of course so they have an image of who to be looking for, on the day of the appointment.
