What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services are not easily described for pricing purposes as each valuation problem can be different. My assurance to my clients is that my fee is reflective of my time and always held to a very reasonable level based upon pre-approval by the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, appraisers are required to take continuing education for state certification, and as a designated appraiser I also take additional CE to certify the continued highest standards of a valuation professional.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I majored in real estate in college and after graduation found that I liked this part of the business. I enjoy using the skills I have gained over the years to answer real estate questions and solve related problems.
