FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use a flat fee structure instead of hourly rates so there are no surprises with huge legal bills. The standard fee schedule may be modified to make services more affordable and accessible to low income Arkansans. I also accept periodic payments. My fees are very competitive with those charged by other attorneys, but I am more thorough, more thoughtful, and more accurate than many. I'm not the cheapest, but I earn every penny. The first phone consultation is free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I automate every part of the process that will lend itself to automation, using online forms and other tools to help make legal services more affordable. I also use the skills of several talented administrative folks who are able to work from anywhere and at any time. This also keeps costs down. Email and text messaging are the preferred methods of communication. This is much more efficient than phone conversations, voice mail, and office conferences. But, I love having my clients visit me in my Benton office. It's a comfortable, welcoming, professional space. By appointment only.
