- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love open ended questions. It really gets the conversation ball rolling and helps me get to know my client, their needs, goals, and dreams. I am a self proclaimed “people pleaser” with a background in customer service, so these scenarios come naturally to me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While living in Fort Worth almost 20 years ago, I was hired at a floral shop, and quickly became enamored with all things floral. I learned so much from them , from different styles (modern and sleek, all the way to traditional and baroque) and how changing the height and greenery style can truly transform the same primary flowers into something completely different! I ended up opening my own floral shop while living in Austin. I started my photography journey in college, and quickly fell in love! I learned about subject composition, lighting, and developing photos in the dark room, just to name a few.
