Animal Medical Clinic

About Animal Medical Clinic

We're a full-service small animal veterinary clinic, serving Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas for the past 28 years. Our highly trained staff and our four veterinarians provide medical care for dogs, cats, and many exotics, such as birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, hedgehogs, and other pocket pets.

Our veterinary clinic is one of the best equipped in Northwest Arkansas. We have state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities at our disposal. These include a Tono-Pen for measuring intraocular (internal eye) pressure, a Doppler blood pressure unit, computerized ECG machine, an ultrasound machine, in-house serology, chemistry, and complete blood count (CBC) machines.

We have state-of-the-art digital x-rays that can be viewed online within 48 hours or in-house for immediate viewing. We are also one of the few clinics who use ultrasonography in our practice.

We offer boarding in Fayetteville for your pets as well. Our canine and feline patients are accommodated in climate controlled areas. Dogs are walked and exercised twice daily in a fenced area, and unless you elect to feed your own food, all dogs are fed Science Diet Maintenance.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When choosing a veterinarian for your pet, there are many things that you should consider. First, check with friends and people you know and trust for a referral. If you need more help check online and see what people are saying in online reviews. Another great place to look is Facebook. If the clinic has a Facebook page, see what kind of comments they get from their clients.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Too many people think the veterinarian with the cheapest prices is the best. Would you seek out the cheapest doctor for your own health?

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Asking the right questions is very important when choosing a veterinarian. What does your vet specialize in? How long has your vet been in practice? What kind of equipment and facilities does your vet have? How well do they get along and seem to care about your pets?
