The Turf Hawg two-man crew arrived at my home around 11:30 a.m. and left about 40 minutes later. They worked quickly and did a great job mowing my lawn, weed-eating, and blowing off my sidewalk and driveway. I'm glad I found this small local lawn care business on Thumbtack. I've already recommended Turf Hawg to my sister.

I really wanted to like Turf Hawg because they started off doing a good job. Unfortunately, the quality of their service steadily declined over time.

The final straw was when they left over half of my yard completely unmowed. When I contacted them, they told me they would send someone back out to finish the job. That never happened. Instead, the owner completely stopped responding to my calls and messages. As far as I can tell, my number was blocked, and I never received any explanation or communication about why.

To make matters worse, one of their employees made racist comments to my neighbor, which was extremely disturbing and completely unacceptable. The owner claimed that the employee was fired.

Poor workmanship is one thing, but poor communication and unprofessional behavior are another. I can’t recommend Turf Hog based on my experience.
