FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is different but I can usually give an estimate over the phone if you provide pictures. If I come to do an inspection person estimate upon request, there is a $50 fee that can be deducted from the total at the end of the job if I am hired for doing your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, my process usually looks like this: 1. Initial Consultation: I start by discussing the customer's needs, goals, and any specific concerns about the project. 2. Inspection and Assessment: If necessary, I visit the site or review the item to evaluate the scope of the work and identify potential challenges. 3. Estimate: I provide a detailed estimate that breaks down labor, materials, and any additional costs, ensuring the customer understands the pricing. 4. Agreement and Scheduling: Once the customer approves the estimate, we agree on a timeline and any necessary preparations. 5. Project Execution: I keep the customer informed throughout the process, addressing any unexpected issues and ensuring quality work. 6. Final Walkthrough and Payment: After completing the job, I review the work with the customer to confirm their satisfaction before finalizing payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training come from hands-on experience over the years. I’ve tackled a wide variety of home improvement and mechanical projects, learning through practice and problem-solving. I’ve also stayed updated by researching techniques, studying best practices, and seeking advice from experienced professionals. This combination of practical experience and self-driven learning has given me the skills and knowledge to handle a wide range of tasks effectively.
