FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mural prices can differ greatly depending on design, level of detail, desired level of realism, and whether painted on-site or installed, etc. For guesstimate purposes, my murals currently tend to run between $25 and $65 per square foot. Payment plans are available and designs can often be adjusted to fit your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When approached by a new customer, we begin by discussing what you are looking for. We go over your design ideas including size, image ideas, color themes, etc. Once we agree on what you are looking for, I'll send over a proposal and contract with a description of the plans we discussed. After the contract is signed and a 1/3 non-refundable deposit is made, I will do a mock-up of your design and you'll have the option to make adjustments (2 adjustments included in estimate). Once the drawings are approved, we'll set a date for work to begin. During production you'll have an opportunity to make any changes at around the half way point. For 1 day jobs the balance is due the day we paint. For larger on-site jobs, 1/3 is due the day we begin painting and the balance will be due upon completion of the project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began painting as a small child under the guidance of my artist grandmother and learned many basic techniques at that time. As I grew older I pursued many types of artistic creation but returned to painting as an adult. I've been painting full-time since 2016.
