FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cup and Quill offers a range of coaching and cost per/word editing packages that can be custom-tailored to suit a client's needs and objectives. We align our prices with industry standards and our mission to deliver outstanding service through a team of highly credentialed editors, many of whom hold PhDs and possess extensive training and experience. Our model (including the rates) reflects our belief that the best businesses are built around a commitment to engaging with clients as human beings, first and foremost, and not just word counts with dollar amounts assigned to them. Finally, no dollar amount will ever be high enough to convince us to help students cheat by writing essays for them. We adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity. We do not serve clients seeking help to engage in unethical practices under any circumstances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every Cup and Quill partnership begins with a complimentary consultation to clarify their goals and objectives, and to determine which services best fit their needs. If a client wishes to move forward, I match the project to the editor who is the best fit and send a contract to the client. The client sends the manuscript as an MS Word document.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cup and Quill's editors bring a professor's touch to their clients' work. Most have PhDs and years of experience as editors, scholars, writers, and teachers.
