FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in keeping things simple and transparent. Each session has a clear starting rate that includes your time in front of the camera, thoughtful editing, and a beautifully delivered online gallery. For weddings and larger events, collections are all-inclusive and designed to give you a seamless experience from start to finish. If your vision includes extended coverage, multiple locations, or specialty add-ons, we’ll talk through everything ahead of time so you feel confident in your investment — no hidden fees or last-minute surprises. Local travel is included, and if your event is outside that area, any additional travel is always discussed in advance. My goal is for you to feel excited about your session, not stressed about the details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out, I’ll start by learning a little more about what you’re looking for — whether it’s a wedding, boudoir session, headshots, or family photos. Every session is a little different, so I like to understand your vision and answer any questions before we move forward. From there, we’ll finalize the details, select a date, and secure your session with a signed agreement and retainer. You’ll receive clear communication and guidance leading up to your shoot so you feel prepared and confident. On session day, my focus is creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience. I’ll guide you when needed and step back when natural moments unfold — so nothing feels forced or awkward. After your session, your images are carefully edited and delivered through a private online gallery where you can download and share your favorites. My goal is for the entire process — from inquiry to final gallery — to feel seamless and genuinely enjoyable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was mentored early in my career by an award-winning wedding photographer, which gave me a strong foundation not only in storytelling, but in professionalism, lighting, and consistency under pressure. Since then, I’ve continually invested in refining both the technical and artistic sides of my craft. From mastering natural light and advanced off-camera lighting to studying composition, movement, and visual storytelling, I’m always learning and challenging myself to grow. I believe great photography lives at the intersection of art and precision. Strong technical skill allows me to handle any lighting situation with confidence, while ongoing artistic development helps me create images that feel intentional, emotional, and beautifully composed. My goal is simple: to deliver work that is not only technically sound, but visually meaningful — images you’ll love now and still appreciate years from now.
