I receive the Arkansas Home Builders Association announcements. I also stay up to date with several construction / real estate groups on Linked In.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you compare apples to apples. such as, roofing, is roofer A for 2000, doing the exact same work and materials as roofer B for 3500?????? Also, does the material list match up with the work to be done? roofer A said he was going to fix the broken rafter, but is not planing on buying any lumber!!! that don't work!!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Not miracle workers. If the wood is rotten, you can't put a nail in it and expect it to hold good wood!!!!!! it will have to be done again, and don't ask me to do that to you, makes me feel like I am cheating you because you will have to do it again and I know you will have to do it all again.
