I have known Stacey for over 12 years now. She trained my daughter who is now 25 for a number of years when she was younger and led her to be 2nd in AZYQHA in the state at 12 years old. I recently in last 3 years have reconnected with her to take lessons and have bought my own horse with her help. She works with me and my horse. I trust her completely with mine and my horse’s training and welfare. She is extremely knowledgeable about all facets of riding, showing, care and breeding. She has a great demeanor as I have found that many trainers are gruff and rough around the edges. She always has a smile and a positive attitude. I recommend that whatever level you are at, she will be great to work with.

My 5 year old daughter would quickly lose interest in other activities. In her first lesson, she lit up and has been hooked ever since. Stacey is patient and is great at communicating in a way that young children can understand.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach beginners to advance riders. Both western and English riding skills are offered. First I need to know your experience and what you would like to accomplish. Our first lesson is an evaluation. This will give me an idea on what we need to work on. I believe a confident and safe rider will be able to advance faster. If you have had a bad experience, we will work on confidence building and exercises for body position and flexibility.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degrees in Equine Science and Veterinary Technology. Internship at Colorado State University. Degree emphasis in Teaching and Training Equine Reproduction Technician/ Artificial Insemination Training
