Introduction: Above all, I make flute lessons fun and easy to schedule! As a professional flutist that has nearly completed my Doctorate in Musical Arts, I can offer specialized information on the flute that will benefit students of any age and level! Lessons are always fun and positive, and I strive to create a healthy, optimistic environment for students while they are learning and improving. I love to help students develop their own sense of artistry and become their own teachers by learning to problem-solve! My favorite thing about teaching flute lessons is seeing the satisfaction and pride students feel when they suddenly understand something new. It is an amazing moment to witness!

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Flute lessons are $30/30-minutes, $40/45-minutes, and $50/hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, we will get to know each other a little bit! Working with a new teacher can be intimidating sometimes, but I promise that it will be fun! We will talk about what you hope to get out of flute lessons, because the goals you have for lessons are very important. They will be different for everyone! After that, we'll play through some music you have been working on so I can get a idea of your playing and how I can best help you. Beyond that, we'll structure lessons to be exactly how you'd like, and I'll help you improve your playing in creative and entertaining ways!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm currently pursuing a Doctorate in Musical Arts, so I'm constantly learning and improving as a flutist and a teacher. Every summer, I attend a different music camp or course geared towards improving my playing, teaching, and other related skills. I frequently attend and perform at the National Flute Association's Annual Conventions, which are always inspirational, both musically and as a teacher!
