- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing really. We want both parties to be happy! Sometimes, we'll ask our clients what they think a fair price is or what's in their budget. We have always been able to reach an amount that makes us both parties happy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It really just fell into our lap. And the success has been great! Finding Thumbtack was a God send!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
There are a few, but there is one that stands out the most and makes me feel accomplished and proud to be an American! I'm the most proud of building a shed for a military wife who had lost her husband! Being a military wife, she was pretty independent, but she purchased a shed for her husband's personal belongings which were coming back from the Middle East. She said she opened the box and directions, and began crying. I know as a Military wife, she was pretty independent, but she became overwhelmed! We were so proud to help her! Not only were we proud to do the job, but it made us proud to be Americans!
