FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved shooting photographs of my friends and family since I was a teenager. My friends used to laugh at me because I always had a camera around my neck but they loved when I would bring little photo albums from our last activity or event we attended. That's what started the passion. Seeing their expressions when they saw the photos and recalling the great memories I capture with my little camera. I took my passion up to the next level in 2010 and started shooting professionally and it became even more rewarding as I worked with so many amazing clients. I love making people happy by sharing my passion!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do for my clients are for portraits and weddings. I enjoy shooting portraits for families and individuals. The shoots last 1-2 hours and I get to deliver great images to wonderful people. Weddings are so magical and at every single wedding I have felt so much love and am so honored to be called upon to capture that special day for my clients. Portrait shoots and weddings are the most rewarding for me.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a lot of questions. Come prepared with any question that you may have about what you can expect from your photographer during your shoot or wedding. I love answering questions. Some of my best "Meet & Greet" pre-photo shoot/wedding day meetings were because my future client came with a a whole notebook page full of questions. If you have a good photographer, your photographer will put your mind at ease and help you feel totally comfortable and confident in what you can expect from them when working together. Get to know your photographer. Sometimes personalities don't work together which is completely fine, that just means you need to keep looking. Ask questions, see if their style is close to what you're looking for and get to know your photographer. They'll be working with you for a while!
