- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees are not charged hourly, but as a monthly tuition. With that tuition, you get not only private lessons, but a plethora of other opportunities and experiences. Our focus is on providing the highest level of training available so that you are NEVER wasting time or money. You get the very best value by hiring teachers who can help you achieve your goals in the most efficient way possible. Our tuition is charged on a monthly basis for private lessons, or by term for group classes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you contact Hammer & Strings, we talk you through any questions you might have. We then set up a time to meet with you and a teacher of whatever instrument you need. You can come see the Conservatory, meet the staff, and have a little mini lesson to understand more fully what we are about and how we can help you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Founder and Director, Dr. Karali Hunter, believes that education and experience together are the key to successful music study. Our teachers are conservatory trained, and have extensive experience with both teaching and performing, so they understand how to teach BOTH of those very important aspects of being a musician. Dr. Hunter received a bachelors degree, masters degree, and doctorate degree in piano performance, all while studying and honing her teaching skills. She uses this experience to hire professional teachers, and giving H&S clients the BEST musical experience possible.
