Primal Warrior Coaching
About this pro
Education and personal empowerment are vital to long term success! Unfortunately, the fitness and nutrition industry is filled with the glitz and glamour of the incredible, in not dramatic, stories of speedy change and AMAZING transformations. The reality...real and lasting transformation takes time...it is NOT a linear trajectory that occurs in two weeks, or even a month. Life happens and old habits die hard. Eating less and moving more is not a complete and accurate recipe for weight loss, fitness and long term success. Simply following the next great "meal plan" will not provide the real tools for lasting change. At Primal Warrior Coaching we believe learning and mastering fundamental movement patterns and healthy-eating habits are the twin-pillars for optimal fitness and nutrition. If you can't hip-hinge while maintaining core stability, you shouldn't deadlift! If you aren't drinking enough water and/or whole-foods aren't the cornerstones of your diet, you shouldn't worry about what protein powder or multi-vitamin supplement is best. Primal Warrior Coaching will help you cut through the noise, the hype and the distractions. We will guide you in putting First Things...FIRST! Then we will develop a plan together and move forward from there. Assisting clients along the journey toward optimizing their health and well-being is very rewarding. Whether someone is looking to lose weight and move better, decrease stress and unwind, or get out of pain, I enjoy being a part of that journey. Fitness and nutrition coaching is habit-based and sustainable, while massage/ bodywork is structured to optimize alignment, eliminate pain and provide you the tools to maintain. I believe self-empowerment is a critical life-skill that can be taught and learned. As a fitness/ wellness coach and massage therapist, I strive to guide my clients in its pursuit. I have more than 20 years working in the fitness and wellness industry, with a B.S. in Exercise Science and multiple advanced certifications. To me, this work is all about the chance to affect lasting change and positively impact the lives of those whom I have the fortune to serve.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?**Training is provided as a membership and NOT sold as "individual sessions" per se. Therefore, the base-price reflected in personal training quotes is the maximum-amount-breakdown, if the sessions were viewed as individually priced. Unfortunately, Thumbtack does not have any other way to provide a quote. The price "per-session" will most often be lower than this BASE PRICE quoted. The "actual-cost" per session is dependent upon multiple factors, including: location (& distance), number of desired training sessions per week, and the number of months in the training membership, online coaching -vs- in-person, individual training -vs- partner training, etc. We are happy (and encourage) a complimentary, no strings attached, consultation so we can better understand your goals, understand if we'd be a good fit for each other, and provide a more accurate quote based upon YOUR needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We encourage a complimentary phone consultation prior to scheduling any in-person service we provide (massage/ personal training). All new clients will complete intake questionnaires specific to the service being provided. This will give us the necessary background information (i.e. health history) to provide the best service possible. Quite often, the intake form will either be completed online, or sent via email. Training, nutrition and health coaching services require payment upfront, while massage/ bodywork sessions are due after service completeion.
