I live at the Grand Canyon but travel all over Northern Arizona. Along with my experience and training as a professional photographer (Northern Arizona University and Adobe Photoshop Training Certificate), Last year I won two First Place Awards and Best of 2016 with a local newspaper and Thumbtack. I keep my equipment updated and include the sharpest lenses, latest generation of Nikon cameras and over-the-top portable lighting (Quantum)...Fresh Focuses offers memorable pictures that will bless my clients for years to come...and, at a price that is bearable to their budget. I never stick to any time frame and don't charge if we go beyond, I don't add additional charges for editing and I hold a training certificate in Adobe Photoshop. My gift of photography is what I love to do, the only downfall is that I have to charge. The results and how my clients respond to those results. I enjoy people, especially those people who say they "hate" pictures of themselves. They always change their attitute. I also enjoy the logistics of camera settings and absolutely LOVE photoshop and all the possibilities of post editing. Anyone who knows me well, knows how much I love people...even grumpy people stir my interest. I am a member of Professional Photographer of America (PPA).

Ronnie was amazing, she exceeded all my expectations, she was so dedicated, I can't thank her enough. The photos where beautiful, her creativity, her dedication before and after the photoshoot was more than I expected. In a word: Perfect! Ronnie was given the last of photographing a family of 15 (9 adults and 6 kids) in a large open field/forest. What a challenge! She was perfect though! She was great giving feedback to the adults regarding posing and lighting. She was even better with the kids! I enjoyed her flexibility in getting shots in different orders, depending on our kids' moods. Her professionalism started with setting up the arrangement and drafting the contract. It continued with her calling me a few days before the shoot, getting information on the people in the shoot (including ages) and which shots we wanted to get, and also she suggested some good shots that we hadn't thought about. On the day of the shoot, she showed up on time and immediately got to work! She got all of the shots we talked about plus more and when we had extra time, she stuck around and took candids of all of us! I can't wait to see the final product! I'm not sure how other photographers do it but I loved her payment policy. She charged a small deposit up front. Then, I gave her a post dated check the day off that she won't cash until she puts the photos in the mail. I love that! We came together from different states for a family vacation and Ronnie helped memorializ it. If I lived in Flagstaff, she would do all of our family photos!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on what my clients needs are. I try my best to be fair and many times work for less than I would want simply because I invest my time in giving my clients the best, which sometimes can mean hours of post-editing. Softening of skin, blemishes, hot spots on a bald head, etc., etc.,
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the amount of hours I photography typically determines my processing time. For a two hour family photo session for instance, I tell my clients "two weeks" and usually have it done to the day or sooner. For a four to six hour wedding, it could take up to three weeks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography as part of my Public Relations (PR) degree, then instead of obtaining a Masters in PR, decided to obtain a training certificate in Adobe Photoshop from Santa Rosa Junior college (SRJC). SRJC has some of the best Adobe Photoshop instructors in the country.
