George McSly was better than I could have imagined. We hired him to perform as a surprise at my friend’s bachelorette party. We would have been happy with a few party tricks, but we were not at all prepared for the show that George had in store for us. He went above and beyond to blow our minds, and even took the extra trouble to make some tricks personalized to the bride, such as including her wedding date and her groom (in ways that none of us saw coming!). He was joined by his beautiful assistant, who equally blew us away with her charm and kindness. I do not think any magic show that I see from here on out could top that which was performed by Mr. McSly. I wish I had bachelorette trips in Southern AZ all the time to hire him again and again. Thank you George!!

We hired McSly Magic for a small Harry Potter themed birthday party for children between the ages 5-8, and we were very pleased we did. First of all it was something different than most of the birthday parties we attend, which made it somewhat novel. We hosted it at our home and the only thing we had to do to prepare for it is move a little bit of furniture around to make some space. He was very friendly, accommodating and demonstrated a genuine desire to please the kids. The show was fun and amusing, and he geared it toward Harry Potter. We had a couple skeptical 7-8 year olds and there were times he would let them think they figured him out. Then he would do a twist in the trick that kept them surprised and stumped. The adults enjoyed it as well and of course the most satisfying this is to see the children enjoy as much as they did. If you are thinking about hiring a magician, especially for K thru 2nd, I recommend hiring him. Thank you George for an enjoyable time!

George McSly was the perfect performer/ magician for my 4 year old's birthday party. Given the young age of the average guest, he worked out a 30 minute show for an adjusted rate and kept the attention of kids and parents alike the whole time! My daughter loved it, all her friends were engaged, and George McSly has been the talk of the preschool this week. A very positive experience, all around.

I cannot recommend George McSly enough! He did a combination of walk around magic and a small stage performance to end the magic portion of our evening before we began our murder mystery! It was a Halloween party to remember!!!! I loved the way he incorporated music into his show, too! It was just so fun and magical! My guests and I are still scratching our heads over all his tricks! Can't imagine how he did it!

We hired George McSly for my daughters Sweet 16. This was a casino themed event and we transformed the back patio into the casino floor. The kids ate, then George performed, then it was time for poker and blackjack. George did an amazing job of ensuring his routine was not only appropriate for the age group of the guests, yet also fit the theme of the party. He came with a poker table and performed tricks with cards and poker chips, and had a full skit that flowed with the theme beautifully. I was worried how the teen guests would react, as we all know 15-18 year olds can be very hard to please, yet they all stated they thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was a great addition to the event! He incorporated age appropriate humor and worked to involve the audience. Even the adult attendees stated they were very impressed. And his rates were very reasonable! He even stayed after the show and acted as one of the dealers during gambling time (don’t worry, not for real money). I was very pleased with his performance and highly recommend!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father made a coin disappear when I was 5 and I thought he had real magic powers. I tried to repeat the event to no avail and I finally cracked and asked my father for the truth. He showed me how to do the trick and I was hooked. I fell in love with the feeling of awe and wonder. I fell in love with the idea of entertaining people and making them forget all their problems even if only for a little while. I fell in love with the cleverness behind doing an illusion.
