What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on the type of service, length of care, number of pets, and any additional needs. I offer drop-in visits, daycare, boarding, house sitting, pet taxi, and other care options. I provide estimates upfront so you know what to expect, and any additional fees are discussed before booking. A meet and greet is required before starting services to ensure we’re a good fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources and have worked in the veterinary field since 2020. My experience includes working in an emergency veterinary hospital, assisting with patient care, medication administration, monitoring, and handling animals with different medical and behavioral needs. I am also BLS/CPR certified and insured through a pet sitter insurance provider.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My passion for animal care started with my love for animals and grew through my experience working in the veterinary field. I started Kat’s Paws to combine my veterinary background with my love for pets and provide families with reliable, compassionate care they can feel good about.
