In my experience, every caricature artist has their own style, which is great. Variety is the spice of life, right? Some people like my style because I really try to capture the essence of the person and make it look as realistic as possible. Exaggeration is an important part of caricature, but I think the most important part is to make sure it looks like the person, in the most flattering way possible. I always look for the best in people and try to emphasize that in my drawings. As long as I can remember I have always love drawing people. Caricatures are fun for me because I am able to interact with the person I am drawing and get a feel for their personality, which then helps me to work this into the drawing!
