FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a variety of flexible fee options for our clients. In many cases, after an initial visit, we can provide a flat fee that will cover all the costs in connection with a given case. In other cases, we may bill on an hourly basis for time spent working on the case. In every case, we will provide a clear explanation of our billing structure and we will only bill our clients for work they have authorized us to do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process includes a consultation (either in person, on the phone, or via Skype) to discuss the client's individual goals and any unique facts that may set it apart from other cases. During the consultation, we will also discuss pricing and billing options to ensure the client is ready to proceed and understands our process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and my law degree from Brigham Young University. I am licensed to practice in the state of Arizona and belong to a number of national and local organizations that help me stay up to date on changes to the law. These groups include AILA (the American Immigration Lawyers Association), Wealth Counsel (a group of client-focused estate and business planning lawyers), Elder Counsel (a national group of client-focused estate and elder law attorneys); and the East Valley Estate Planning Council (a local group of estate planning attorneys and other professionals).
