FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on a monthly fee model based on the team size and skills needed for your project. In some cases, that’s just me handling everything. In others, I’ll bring in designers, testers, or DevOps support to meet your goals more efficiently. Projects typically require a 2–3 month minimum, with monthly budgets starting around $15k–$50k, depending on complexity. This agile model gives you flexibility to evolve the product while still moving fast and staying aligned with your business goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a conversation to explore fit—what you’re trying to accomplish, where your project stands today, and whether my team is the right match. From there, I outline a plan that includes architecture, timelines, budget ranges, and next steps. My goal is to make sure we’re aligned before any code gets written.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington and have been building mobile and web applications for over two decades. One of my early iOS apps was featured in the App Store, and I’ve successfully delivered numerous apps across platforms since then. I’ve also taught programming languages and led engineering teams, which gives me a strong foundation not just in writing code, but in communicating technical decisions clearly and guiding teams to deliver real results. As a business owner and executive since 1996, I understand the bigger picture—how to align software with business goals, manage evolving requirements, and deliver value that lasts.
