- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project is quoted as per the project. I do not have a standard pricing system for the sessions because I would not want my clients to pay for something that they don't need. So once we have an idea of what you need we customize the quote for each of our clients. I do however have a set price for prints if you choose to print your photos. Don't let the word customize scare you though, Im customizing to your needs, not you to mine. So in the long run you save money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is we initially will discuss the clients needs over the phone. Then once we have a plan in place and we are clear on our expectations we can begin the quote process. Once the shoot is complete, I upload your images to an online password protected gallery where only the customer is given the password. I do not share your images with anyone. From this point I ask the customer to pick their top images from the shoot. I will do all necessary touching up at no additional cost and deliver the images to you in a final online gallery for you to view, share, download or print. The final images will be formatted for you in both high resolution and web ready formats.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied photography from almost every aspect from commercial, architectural and fashion photography. Don Thompson Photography has been in business for about 13 almost 14 years now. My first degree is in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehab with a focus and a minor in Communications. After working in that field for many years I decided to go back to school for photography. I think that is why I understand how to photograph the body so well.
