What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Because bird control is such a specialty there is very limited training.
Most of our training has come from our suppliers which is basic how a product works or where can it be used.
We have reached a point in experience where the owner of Arizona Wings N' Stings has been an invited speaker to several regional and a national pest control conferences to speak and train attenders on bird control and bee removal.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common call we get is from a homeowner that has a two story home that faces north that has gotten a pair of pigeons that have decide to start nesting under the roof line overhangs or started to roost along the rooftop tile ridge tiles. Many times that roof line overhang is just above the front door and all the mess from the pigeons feces, twigs and just stuff all falls down by the front door and sidewalk. If not stopped they have babies that move to other areas of the home, then the mess really starts. Don't let that happen call us today for an inspection and proposal on how we can help you put an end to the mess.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at companies that do bird control work full time. While bird exclusion & pigeon control is associated with the pest control industry, controlling pigeons, sparrows, grackles and other types of birds is very different than spraying for general household pest. Pigeon and bird control, exclusion or bird proofing services require completely different training, tools, methods, equipment and knowledge to eliminate birds and pigeons from nesting or roosting outside a building, than spraying for pests like cockroaches, scorpions and ants from inside that same building.By hiring BMP's (Bird Management Professionals) like us, you'll get the results you expected and have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your bird problem gets solved correctly the 1st. time.
