Introduction: Born and raised in Arizona, I became criminal defense expert who understands the local court system, the prosecutors and judges. I am a former prosecutor. I have lectured at seminars for both law enforcement and defense counsel. I am an accomplished author and trial attorney. In 1997, I created The Law Office of Howard A. Snader. Since then, I believe my lawfirm has established itself as one of the premier criminal defense lawfirms in Arizona. What I learned is that justice is seen through a prism of politics and policies. The harsh and mandatory sentencing in Arizona makes it easy for prosecutors to force anyone into taking a plea. I did not like the way that made me feel. I left the County Attorney's office because I learned that politics and policies to not make good prosecutors. I wanted to use my skills to protect the individuals that were being beaten up by the system that I grew to dislike. I would like to believe that with hard and creative work, I can often get results that other attorneys are unable to even attempt. I love it when I get the hug from the client, or their parents, for really saving someone from an unfair outcome.
