I can not say enough good things about Elan Electric service. They were efficient and professional. I first called them about adding additional electrical outlets. The person that arrived, Jason, was on time and very courteous. He did the work in a timely manner. The work was very professional and without any mess left behind. I then called on them to do some home network and A/V wiring. Again their work was above expectations. I am an ardent fan of their work. I will use them in the future and shall recommend them to anyone needing electrical or wiring work.

Jason knew right away what the problem was & fixed it well within a half hour. He also recommended kitchen lights that used much less electric and were a lot brighter. We purchased them and absolutely love them. We will highly recommend Jason from Elan Electric to anyone requesting the name of a good electrician.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Elan Electric is licensed for both commercial and residential work Arizona Registrar of Contractors # 288443. All of Elan Electric's Service Journeyman are actually licensed journeyman which means they have completed the 5 year electricians school as well as the 8,000 on the job training. In addition they have another 15 years or more experience. (this is not required in Arizona) We are also Lutron and Vantage lighting controls certified, as well as a dealer for QuietCool whole house fans.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always ensure that the contractor has an Arizona Registrar of Contractors license. Also ensure that there is no complaints on their license, it can be looked up quite easily on the ROC website. Also make sure they are licensed for the work they do, commercial or residential or both. Ensure the contractor has liability insurance and workmen's comp. to protect yourself from lawsuits or damage to the property from the work performed. It doesn't matter how good a contractor is accidents do happen and that is why insurance and workmen's comp is so important.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Integrity is most important. We don't run 15 amp outlet circuits because the customer is too likely to have breakers tripping. This means we have to use more expensive 12 gauge wire over 14, but long term the customer is happier. We only use airtight recessed can lighting to protect the customer from higher heating and cooling bills. We source our LED lighting directly because our lights are brighter and warmer in color. They also are significantly more reliable than LED lights one will see at big box stores.
