I have now used Steven Laverty of Ben Frankin 1 hour plumbing 4 times. Each time the experience has been great--timely arrival, escellent diagnostic and mechanical skills, gets the job done and leaves the site clean. Certainly not the cheapest altenative but in my estimation well worth the price paid to have the job done quickly, competently and professionally. Hightly reccommended!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had a plumbing emergency at one of my rental properties--on a Saturday evening, of course. Called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and was quoted a window of between 5pm and 12am for technician arrival. The Tech actually arrived at about 6pm and worked hard and diligently to resolve the problem. Although the issue could not be fixed that night the tech contacted me ASAP and explained the problem, his efforts and why they were not enough to fix the issue, and presented a solution. Price expensive but fair considering the work involved. I have confidence that the problem will be fixed, and the solution will include "future proofing" to prevent my going through this again.The technician, Steve Laverty, was professional, knowledgeable and efficient, and worked hard to try to solve the issue that night.I would recommend this company and will call them again for any future plumbing needs.

I was in desperate need of a plumber. Steven was here when promised and thoroughly inspected the problem I was having. Then we talked options. Steven knows what he is talking about and explained it to me and answered all my questions. Yes, it was more expensive than I hoped..But, it's done right...

Steve was on time for the appointment and found the problem right away (basement sewage grinder/sump system not working). He repaired the problem within an hour. I'll definitely be calling Ben Franklin in the future for plumbing issues.

Steve was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about what he was going to do. He explained everything to me in detail so I dont know outstanding questions or any reason to question the repairs. A little pricey but the workmanship was excellent.

I do agree that things aren’t cheap. For us to provide the level of service that we do, with drug tested and background checked employees, fully stocked trucks, a call center that is staffed 24 hours a day to take care of our customers, the longest warranty of any company and people that truly care about our customers. Our company made a decision a long time ago to apologize for price once, rather than apologize for poor quality and poor service over and over.
