About
Hello! As an avid pet lover and experienced handler with multiple species, I have now opened my services to new clients. I am available to do visits for quick care as well as spend time walking or socializing and interacting with your furry family. My experience extends beyond my own personal pets, as I have been involved in the rescue community and have worked with hundreds of animals over the last 5 years. I work primarily in Queen Creek, Gilbert, and parts of San Tan Valley!

It’s definitely no secret that Heather loves animals, but I was pleased with how she kept me updated throughout the week. I can tell she loves my dogs like her own, and I will use her services again.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got involved in rescue after spending time in the k9 handling community learning more about training detection dogs. That led me to work with all breeds and various species including cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and birds in addition to the dogs.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am currently fostering a high anxiety dog, and just finished fostering a deaf dog until he was successfully adopted. Each of them come with unique challenges, but h love watching them hit milestones in their training and improve in their behavior taking them to the level needed to be adoptable into a home.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Set clear communication expectations upfront requesting daily updates and pictures. When entrusting your babies to a sitter or walker, it is not unreasonable to ask them to provide you with updates after every visit, and sometimes missing an update can be the first line of defense when they are not being cared for properly.
