Introduction: My name is Sharla and I have worked in the helping industry for over 15 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Family and Human Development and Masters Degree in Marriage and Family therapy and have over a decade of experience in upper management/leadership in many non-profit organizations to support many families in the state of Arizona. I have a host of specializations which includes supporting families in transition, high-risk/high-conflict couples, maternal and paternal mental health struggles (like postpartum anxiety or depression), mother/child bond and attachment challenges, addictive/compulsive disorders and many more. It is more important for me to ensure anyone I work with feels like we are mutually a good fit versus what my background or areas of specialization are. While that is important as well, I am more passionate about connection-with people. I have found that in many years of working with people and for people, building and maintaining a lasting connection is more healing than anything else. I genuinely believe that with the proper support in our lives, that we have the capacity to live their lives being the best version of themselves.
