FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took an online course through Rose Ministries.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It all began when a friend’s daughter was getting married, and their pastor backed out at the last minute. They were heartbroken and scrambling to find someone who could step in. I wanted to help, so I went online, took a quick course, and became a certified wedding officiant just in time to perform their ceremony. That experience showed me how meaningful it can be to help couples say “I do” in a way that feels personal and stress-free. Since then, I’ve had the honor of officiating weddings of all styles — from simple backyard ceremonies to beautiful outdoor celebrations. For me, it’s not just about the words — it’s about the joy, the connection, and being part of a moment couples will remember for the rest of their lives.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Choosing the right officiant can make all the difference in your ceremony. Look for someone who truly listens and takes time to understand your story and vision. Communication is key — your officiant should be responsive, organized, and flexible with your plans. Even a simple ceremony can feel deeply personal when crafted with care. Most importantly, find someone you connect with and feel comfortable around. Your officiant sets the tone for one of the most meaningful moments of your life — make sure it feels right. Whether you’re planning something quick and easy or a fully personalized celebration, I’m happy to help make it special and stress-free.
