I had just gotten a new gaming pc that worked for a few hours then just stopped. Contacted Flat Rate Computer Guy through this app and he responded within minutes. Within 2 hours of that response my pc was at his shop and already diagnosed. Got it back the next day and it’s running even better than it was when I got it! He even put in some extra work to make sure everything was secure and correct inside. Whatever issues I may have in the future, he’ll be the guy to go to for sure. Definitely recommend.

If you need to get your computer issues resolved this is the guy you should take your pc to. My wife and I initially took my custom built gaming PC to troubleshoot some issues I was having. Flat Rate Computer Guy ( or FRCG for short ) was able to determine what the issue was in minutes whereas my old friend misdiagnosed the cause. FRCG is very professional, I was very impressed with his hospitality and willingness to answer the many questions I had as well as his efficiency and flexibility to the situation. Ultimately my issue was easy to resolve and FRCG was courteous and fair with pricing. I ended up having him install windows 11 beyond my original easy to fix issue and paid the flat rate of $75. But most importantly FRCG is trustworthy. I left my pc with him for 4 hours and got it back fully intact no issues and he correctly diagnosed the problem. Thanks Flat Rate Computer Guy!

Ben worked on my Lenovo lap top and fixed my wifi connection problem, loaded Windows 10 and cleaned my computer, all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Flat Rate Computer Guy and Ben for any computer problems and issues. As a side note, I was sitting in Best Buy with my lap top. It was going to be at least another hour before I got to the service counter. So I used my iPhone to do a quick search for nearby computer repair. I used Thumbtack and received an immediate reply from Ben, took my computer direct to him and got it back within 4 hours. Great Service!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a Flat Rate of $75 for labor. Repeat customers, students, and military(vets included) get $10 off. Parts are charged at cost, with no mark-up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just come on by! Diagnostics are always free. A quick call or text letting me know when you're on your way is always appreciated! I work out of my home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All my certifications require me to renew them every 3 years. A huge part of the IT industry is keeping up with the latest and greatest.
