Ben was very helpful. Called him and brought it to his house Saturday afternoon, explained my issues and, by Sunday Noon, he had it repaired, backed up and re-installed all my documents, pics etc. I picked it up and he explained the problems and how to keep them from re-occurring. If you need to get your computer issues resolved this is the guy you should take your pc to. My wife and I initially took my custom built gaming PC to troubleshoot some issues I was having. Flat Rate Computer Guy ( or FRCG for short ) was able to determine what the issue was in minutes whereas my old friend misdiagnosed the cause. FRCG is very professional, I was very impressed with his hospitality and willingness to answer the many questions I had as well as his efficiency and flexibility to the situation. Ultimately my issue was easy to resolve and FRCG was courteous and fair with pricing. I ended up having him install windows 11 beyond my original easy to fix issue and paid the flat rate of $75. But most importantly FRCG is trustworthy. I left my pc with him for 4 hours and got it back fully intact no issues and he correctly diagnosed the problem. Thanks Flat Rate Computer Guy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a Flat Rate of $75 for labor. Repeat customers, students, and military(vets included) get $10 off. Parts are charged at cost, with no mark-up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just come on by! Diagnostics are always free. A quick call or text letting me know when you're on your way is always appreciated! I work out of my home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All my certifications require me to renew them every 3 years. A huge part of the IT industry is keeping up with the latest and greatest.
