FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base cost for my services on a sliding scale. My goal is to help you improve your finances by saving money, so you can get ahead financially, not by charging you an arm and a leg to get ahead. Individual financial assessment: $150 (1-hour) Household financial assessment: $250 (2-hours) Ongoing 1-on-1 coaching: $25 to $75 a session (cost varies depending on income) 1-hour workshop cost: $200.00 (1-hour) ***there can be an additional cost for driving further than 25 miles from San Tan Valley, AZ.***
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step one would be to complete an assessment. This can be done virtually, by phone, or in-person. The assessment usually takes about an hour. During the assessment we'll review your income, assets, debts, expenses, and credit. This will help me understand the current state of your financial life, and will also be the basis for your plan. Once the assessment is complete, we can identify any immediate financial needs, followed creating and prioritizing financial goals. Then, the coaching begins!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my financial education from the banking system where I was exposed to all bank regulations. I receive frequent training training around anti-money laundering, client privacy and confidentiality, FCRA - Fair Credit Reporting Act, FDIC - how our money is insured. I recently completed 27 hours of continual education in life insurance. I hold a life only insurance license with the state of Arizona and California's department of insurance. I also attend regularly offered financial coaching training and events offered by the AFCPE. My most recent certification was earned at a financial counseling training offered by United Way Bay Area in San Francisco.
