Very unhappy with my experience renting a home through Lux. The owner Carlie is a very rude unprofessional dishonest person. Communication with this company for the 2 1/2 years we lived in the home was always awful. We decided it was time for us to buy a home and wanted to get out of our lease early. Because we did not use their company as our real estate agents, things got ugly quick and long story short we were not treated fairly and even extremely over charged for paint touch ups etc after we took it upon ourselves to put in many hours of hard work to patch holes and repaint walls along with having the whole house professionally cleaned when we moved out. We got not even a fraction of our deposit back although we took immaculate care of this home. Very insulting and very disappointing. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE.

WARNING!!! DO NOT RENT FROM OR USE THIS COMPANY TO MANAGE YOUR PROPERTIES! IN FACT I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY SERVICES! The owner of this company is a very unfair,rude,argumentative,DISHONEST,condescending, unprofessional woman. We unfortunately rented a home managed by Lux and had nothing but a bad experience from day one. They are very hard to communicate with, We got a fraction of our deposit back after spending our own time and money over the 2 1/2 years we lived in the home to upgrade the house including landscaping the entire back yard (they reimbursed us for some rock). Paid to have the house professionally cleaned when we moved out and painted and touched up all wall and rooms. We were charged over $900 for paint and touch ups!!! Complete insult after all the hard work we put in to make the home very nice and re rentable! Awful experience! So much more went on but I will just leave that to word of mouth. Also, she is deleting my bad review.

Lux Management Group has professionally managed my property since 2013. Emily and Carlie are very knowledgeable and bring a wealth of real estate knowledge. I never have to worry about my property because the property management division handles everything I mean everything. They scrutinize tenants very carefully to find good quality renters. Additionally, they know when to keep rents at market rate and when to raise them accordingly. I never have issues with management responding to my requests. If I call and leave a message, they call back within a reasonable time frame. If I send an email, I receive a response that day, even at night. I drive by my property occasionally, and it always looks pristine. They will even provide you with 1099 during tax time. I hope to have the Lux Management Group to professionally manage more of my properties when the time arises.

Within the span of less than one year, we had multiple issues with property that we rented. Reported maintenance requests and called in issues, with no response from management group. We lived in the property without A/C for two weeks in 115 degree heat. Toward the end of lease, we made the decision to move out a month earlier than our move out date due to presence of mold caused by water damage that was not being addressed by management group, despite our attempts to contact them and the contractors efforts to fix the issue. This issue was reported in October and we moved out in December with no repair. Company does not answer their phones, maintenance portal or emails. Owner, Carlie Goulet does not take ownership of issues when brought to her attention and consistently blamed her staff for the lack of communication when I spoke directly with her days prior. She became very defensive, condescending, unwilling to listen, and handled situations very unprofessionally. Highly recommend to avoid doing business with this management group.
