FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a life-long learner. Magazines I read run from Bloomberg Business to The Atlantic to Time to Tricycle (A Buddhist magazine) to Fast Company and Phoenix Home and Garden. My current certifications require 40 CEU's every three years. They are my PCC (Professional Certified Coach) certified through the International Coach Federation, and a California Realtor(c) license. There are pros and cons like most jobs, but I keep my license current because i'm interested in what is happening in real estate globally and how it affects commerce. I attend workshops often, for many different offerings, and I create and give retreats on many different topics, including: Attracting the BEST in life, not EVERYthing in life; Writing from the Heart; Self-publishing; Creating the perfect action plan; and, Vision Mapping Your Way to Success. If people are interested in specific retreats for life or business success, I can co-create an appropriate environment.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common types of jobs are entrepreneurial consulting when people want to start or grow their own businesses...at a beginning level or advanced, as in wanting to take their business to the next level, whatever that might be for them. I approach challenges and topics from a holistic point of view and include my specialty of Vision Mapping Strategies(c) which helps people get totally clear and focused on what they desire to attain. I wear many different hats in helping individuals and/or teams create short and long term goals and as a Professional Certified Coach can work with them to create a dynamic and achievable strategic plan of action. Sometimes people want only the clarity and focus and then proceed on their own. Others want the clarity and focus AND the plan of action AND an expert to support them in carrying out the plan. My background includes co-creating my own multi-million dollar record label (from zero$) and being the Director of a military child development center for 350+ children daily. My journeys have always had a strong sense of spirituality and uniqueness. Since I am very flexible, I am able to intentionally include spirituality as a container for the work... or come from a bottom line business point of view. My clients let me know what they want and how they would like to proceed. Please feel free to contact me for a complimentary conversation about your situation in life and what you desire for the future. We have all the answers already, and it's sometimes helpful for someone else to listen and help us find the nuggets in our life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Sometimes you know what you want but don't know how to reach your optimal result. Or, maybe you're a very linear thinker and need some balance in the creativity field. Decide what you want in a provider; what kind of personality works best for you; how do you learn best; are you looking for information just for you, or for a team, or a company; what is the most important value in your life? Maybe what you think you want is not really what you want. People contact me because they, or their company or team, might be in transition. Perhaps you are an individual who wants to make a big change in his or her life, start a business, zone in on what truly makes you happy. If someone doesn't know what they want, is fearful or confused about making a big change, or just ready to explore something huge or different, I suggest that you let your mind wander with visions and ideas. You don't need to be clear about this, because that's one of the reasons you would be calling me. I offer a complimentary session to find out more about you and your desires. Please give me a call!
