- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a discounted rate for Thumbtack customers. The package includes a custom private ONLINE GALLERY. The ability to DOWNLOAD and OWN all of the images in the gallery. Gallery's hold approximately 60-300 images per hour of shooting, for outdoor portrait sessions. I also offer ADDITIONAL detailed EDITING, that will be applied to 3 images. I will travel within 15 miles of 86351. Any additional travel will have an additional fee. Galleries for any project were I’m working with a mobile indoor studio, weddings, newborn, sports, products, events, real estate and commercial photography can hold approximately 5 - 1000 images per hour of shooting. Detailed editing can be discussed separately. Product/commercial/business marketing. Quoted out separately. Please contact me. Discount rates available for outdoor sessions, during weekdays and at a specific location i prefer shooting at. Per request. I recommend multiple outfit changes for most type of sessions. My booking rates include permission for a commercial use of images, for promotional material for Lisa Garrett Photography.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I feel successful photo sessions happen when there is good communication. I listen to what the customer wants. Then i give recommendations on the best way to achieve the results they want. I feel it's important to work together to achieve desired results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started studying photography back when film and the dark room where necessary. Digital had not arrived on the scene yet. I starting shooting for fun, while traveling the world. This helped me develop an eye, and an understanding of lighting. Later in life i decided i wanted to shoot photography as a living. So i enrolled into a 3 year photography program. I also study on line with Creative Live. Having a background in performance, professional dance, modeling and acting, i have experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera. I understands the importance of creating an environment where you feel relaxed; where natural moments can arise and your personality can shine through. I understand the importance of having professional images…images that will be used to promote yourself, your product and your craft.
