I’m Nikki Finn-Loudenslager, Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC), IAABC Credentialing Director, and author of How to Find Your Compatible Canine. Nikki worked with our pup when we brought her home at 8 weeks till she was about a year old. She came to our house almost every day around lunch to let our dog out, train her, work with her, and love on her. Nikki was so great to work with. She was caring with training our dog. She helped get our dog to walk well on a leash, helped with general obedience and commands,and just helped us in a pinch when we needed someone to let our dog out during the day. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$120 for 1hr remote consult via Zoom which includes session notes and training plan. 4 session packages are also available at a discounted rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about your dog’s history, behavior, and home environment through a short intake process. From there, we schedule a remote consultation (via Zoom), where I assess the behavior in detail, explain what is driving it, and outline a clear step-by-step plan tailored to your dog and your household.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), which is one of the highest credentials in the field. I have more than 15 years of hands-on experience working with complex behaviour cases, including fear, reactivity, aggression, anxiety, multi-dog dynamics, and rescue/shelter behaviour. In addition to consulting with clients, I serve as the Credentialing Director for the IAABC, where I oversee behavior certification exams, scoring teams, and professional standards worldwide. My work requires deep knowledge of behavior science, learning theory, and humane training practices.
