Kathy was a great officiant! She was willing to adjust her schedule and even drive a long distance for our wedding. She was very professional and helped maintain our schedule, even when things got a little hectic! We loved working with her and highly recommend!May 2, 2019VerifiedSierra Desert Ceremonies's reply
Thanks Kelsey and Andy and Kira. Im happy to help you out. The day and ceremony were beautiful. Hectic is normal, I think!
Kathy Macleod with Sierra Desert Ceremonies was a great officiant for our wedding day. Kathy made a special effort to ensure our ceremony was personal and meaningful. We highly recommend Kathy for your special day!Apr 14, 2017Sierra Desert Ceremonies's reply
Sunny, windy, the day was great, the family and friends all excited for you!
Kathy was absolutely amazing. We called her and she planned everything about our wedding in less than 24 hours. My husband and I was able to have our Dream wedding at the OK Corral in Tombstone Arizona. She helped us to even write our own specialized vows and was prompt and she definitely does not charge enough for everything that she does. Blessed be Kathy! Thanks Damon and Lori! What a fun time!!
Kathy worked with us in such a short period of time. Was very helpful on putting a beautiful ceremony together and a trooper for hiking up Coranado Peak with us to hold the wedding. We can't thank you enough for making our day so special!Feb 6, 2017VerifiedSierra Desert Ceremonies's reply
A teacher is only as good as a student. You are amazing!
Kathy was very helpful in pulling together all the details for our wedding. No matter what obstacles we encountered, she was able to work around them! The vows were perfect, location was spot on and we couldn't have done it without her! We are so very thankful, blessed and happy to start off 2017 together. Thank you Kathy for EVERYTHING!!!Jan 2, 2017VerifiedSierra Desert Ceremonies's reply
Thank you for letting me share your fun day! We sure had fun! Congratulations Ryan and Savanna: and thank you for choosing me!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My basic fee is $125 for the Sierra Vista /Hereford area and $150 for Tombstone, Bisbee, Tucson, Benson or Douglas. Attendance at the rehearsal is extra, unless it is the same day. I do give active duty military a discount. Call me, and lets work it out. I also will travel to other states. My fee is usually related to the airfare. I am willing to negotiate about this.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to chat with either the groom or bride, or both, and discover what they want. I then pull together a ceremony that reflects them, and with several choices in vows. I send a draft for their editing and approval. It is their decision as to what to use. Let me give you what you want!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am continuously searching for new vows, new ceremonies to add to my resources. I have many years of teaching experience in the professional world and enjoy being in front of crowds. I love to travel and have recently gone to Florida and Maryland to marry a couple I met in Arizona.
