The Slade Roofing experience is unlike any other. Here's why:
As a young boy, Tyler learned the value of hard work on his grandfather's cattle ranch and his father’s chicken farm. Tyler started roofing at age 16. Loading and installing roofs during the hot and humid summers helped Tyler developed an affinity for and skillset for roofing.
At age 17, Tyler earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the first of his troop since its organization. At age 19, Tyler embarked on a 2-year adventure as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This was a life-altering decision for Tyler.
This work ethic helped him to transition into a successful career in home and business insurance. In 2005, he founded Slade, Fessler, & Brooks LLC DBA Canyon Lands Insurance.
After over 10 years of owning an agency, Tyler became frustrated with the lack of understanding of the claims process among roofing contractors, as well as the general lack of professionalism. He decided to start a roofing company that understands the insurance process. Slade Roofing works to protect the homeowner's needs as well as providing quality roofs that prevent future insurance claims.

Tyler with Slade has great integrity. My roof was installed by previous owner I bought my house from a year ago and I started having problems with my roof on back of house. Tyler wanted it to be right so he replace the whole roof on back. I wasnt even the one who had it installed. He was an absolute dream to deal with.Great guy to get to know. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so very much Tyler. I couldnt have had a better experience. I have done a lot of restoring houses and have done business with a lot of companies. Had a major insurance claim last winter and the insurance company spent two months playing games. Dee showed up to give us a quote on a new roof to replace the shake roof that was damaged. Seeing the problems we were having with insurance company He took the project over as the general contractor and had the claim back on track. I only wish we had met him two months earlier. When his crew showed up to rip the shake roof and install new upgraded architectural roof they were here when he said so and had the project complete in same day. He was there to make sure the rest of house was complete and take care of other contractors working the interior. It was awesome somebody who would say something and stand by it even when it came to making insurance company pay for it. He was there for us thru til the end of the project.Anyone ever discusses a new roofing project I always tell them you cant go wrong with Slade roofing.

Slade Roofing told me they would be here early on a Saturday morning and...THEY WERE!! The crew stripped the old roof off and replaced the entire roof system by 13:00! Pretty impressive and the roof looks amazing! All I can say is thank you Ryan and your crew! I had no idea it would have been completed so remarkably quickly. I also want to give a big thumbs up to Dee. He was on the spot the day I first called him. He came, surveyed the damage and provided input to the insurance and he followed up with us several times prior to the start. Thank you Slade Roofing! We wont hesitate to refer you to others.

Came same day to fix some shingles on the roof. He explained what he'd look for and what he'd do and then he did a great job. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for roofing.

Great job....we needed some shingles repaired for a sale and couldn't get the guy who had just replaced the roof to come out and fix so we called Slade Roofing and they came out and fixed in time to close....THANK YOU

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In most insurance claim situations, your total out of pocket expense should be no more than your deductible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your insurance company will set the scope and price of your roof replacement. They tell us what quality of product to install, what they want us to do, and what they will pay us to do it.
The city inspector makes sure we install your roof up to current roofing codes.
You select the colors, product within the range of like kind and quality as established by the insurance company, and the cost is your deductible (unless you do not have Ordinance or law coverage or you have an ACV Policy.) This would be a great time to ask your agent 3 questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
1. I worked on a farm till I was 16
2. I started Roofing in 1997
3. I have been a home and business insurance agent since 2002.
4. I teach continuing education to insurance agents
5. All of my roof inspectors are HAAG Certified
6. I am a certified installer for Malarkey roofing products and Owens Corning.
