FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I feel everyone needs a basic headshot for business and personal use. I can't see charging a great deal of money for that. I keep my prices for something straight forward at $99 !!! This includes retouching Yes, I try to factor in all that would contribute to the cost of a project: the hours I actually shoot, the time it takes to edit and retouch and any travel time. Every job is different. I feel the prices quoted by clients on Thumbtack are fees that I am comfortable with.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
chatting on the phone in order to establish their needs. We sometimes e mail images to each other, that way we know how to accomplish that look. I put my images up straight away, no waiting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in photography. I have been working as a professional photographer for many years. I have a studio in Phoenix, been here since 1999. Before that I was living and working in England. I have owned studios in New York City, Dallas, England and now Phoenix. I also paint and take loads of classes - portrait commissions and collectible fine art
