I reached out looking for a photographer for my father's 90th birthday celebration. I came across Thumbtack and Jose responded quickly. His cost was very competitive with the others but he was more attentive to my questions. I decided to hire him from Chicago but am very glad I did. We had a price we agreed upon but Jose showed up 45 minutes early to scout for good locations for the pictures. He did not charge me for his extra time. He took excellent pictures and even got those who don't like having their pictures taken engaged and smiling! During the dinner he took more pictures and nobody even noticed he was there. He stayed a little bit longer than we agreed, again at no charge, because he wanted to make sure I was happy with his work All my sisters, even the critical ones, were very pleased when they saw the results of his efforts. One is even using one of his pictures of her family as her Christmas card photo this year. Jose did an excellent job and obviously takes great pride in his work. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. I would not hesitate to hire him again and endorse him fully. Thank you Jose for capturing this special moment for my family!

Jose was the most responsive out of the photographers that contacted me about my project. Additionally, he was quick to reply with all my questions. He was early to the site and very professional. He captured great shots and I highly recommend him. Will definitely use him again in the future.
