Welcome to Alicia’s Pet and Home Care! I’m Alicia, founder and passionate animal advocate. My journey began when my beloved English Lab, Otis, suffered a traumatic experience at a kennel. Despite thorough research, Otis returned depressed, injured, and frightened. This heartbreaking incident sparked my mission to provide exceptional care, ensuring your pets’ safety and happiness. As a former registered nurse (RN), I’ve transitioned to full-time pet care, supported by one trusted independent contractor. Our services encompass daily care, walks, and specialized palliative care. This compassionate support helps you and your pets navigate the end-of-life journey, providing love, medication, and companionship. You can trust us to care for your furry family members, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I recognized a growing need for home pet care services, particularly for individuals hospitalized and unable to care for their pets. I established a partnership with the social workers at Banner Boswell, who would reach out to me for assistance. When possible, I would visit patients in the hospital to obtain necessary information, collect keys, and gather details about their pets’ care. I would then provide temporary care for their pets until family members could assume responsibility or the patient was discharged.

Alicia has watched my 3 fur babies (medium to large size dogs for almost a decade now. She went out of her way to get my two fearful rescues to trust her and would not give up until they felt comfortable around her. She sure has the dog whisperer trait. She has watched them since when I am away and I can completely trust that my babies are well taken care of. She sends me messages and pictures every day. I can also be certain that she will get them the necessary medical attention and loving care should they get sick while I'm gone which is a big part of choosing a pet sitter for me, especially now that they are of advanced age. We make it easy to get started! Clients fill out their info on our portal, and then we schedule a free meet and greet. This is where we learn all about their pet's needs, quirks, and habits. We want to make sure we give their fur babies the best care possible!
