- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We wanted a candy buffet for our wedding and tried to find someone willing to do it. We had tons of fun setting ours up, but realized it was a lot of work, especially for stressed out brides. Thus Sweet I Do's was born.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
By far our most popular and common job is wedding receptions. However, we have been asked to provide sweet treats for a number of baby showers, wedding showers and children's birthdays. Graduation parties are also a big draw. We have been honored to take part in a Make A Wish birthday celebration and we are active participants in Wish Upon a Wedding.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask lots of questions. Request a portfolio of pictures and design work. Research and ask for referrals. Make sure to compare apples to apples.
