Linda Zubel was able to start immediately and spent time getting to know me and my dog before she started. She's been punctual and reliable and lets me know every day how things went with Frankie's walk. I would definitely recommend her.Jul 18, 2017Verified
I am very pleased with Linda. She walked my dogs, and then sent me an email describe their behaviors, exercise and activity. She works with my schedule and is dependable.Dec 25, 2014Verified
I love their professionalism. I love our dog walker, Pat. My dogs love the whole thing and can't wait for Tuesday and Saturday AM. I'm very impressed and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!Mar 8, 2017Verified
Linda responded quickly and we discussed my needs so she could set up an initial visit. In just a few days I met Linda, and Kevin who was going to be my sitter for my 6 dogs, 1 cat and a goldfish. The interview was very thorough and I was pleased with all they offered. Kevin was great. The dogs loved him and were all worn out when he left. This is the first time I have ever left my pets, but I am very confident in my choice of Reigning Cats & Dogs Pet Sitting Service.May 17, 2018Verified
I have a very big dog that is afraid of storms and of course I had to be away during monsoons. She was very calm when I got home. Excellent job.Jul 19, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do. I have standard rates for all levels of service that I offer. I have four lengths of daily visits: 20-, 30-, 45- and 60-minutes, ranging in price from $20 to $35. Twelve hour overnight stays in client homes is $75. When someone is looking for several consecutive hours of "baby sitting" their pet, my hourly "baby sitting" rate is $18 per hour. And it is certainly okay to "Mix & Match" different services. For example, an overnight stay can certainly be combined with a 30-minute midday visit....
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Step #1 is answering any initial questions they might have over the phone or via email. Step #2 is an in-person "Meet & Greet" at their home so they can meet me, I can meet the pet(s) and we can go over all the details of the care of the home and the routine with the pets. We go over everything from emergency contact information, to preferred dog walk routes, to location of cleaning supplies in the event of an accident, to veterinary information and a veterinary release form to whether or not other cars are to be expected at their house while they're out of town (ie: House keeper, Pool service, Landscaping company, etc....). We go over six pages of information!! After the Veterinary Release Form is signed and dated and the Service Contract is signed, I get the house key and any alarm and/or garage door codes I may need, and we are good to go! I often add their travel dates into my calendar before I even leave their driveway! And I, of course, make sure they have all of my contact information so if there are any changes or any details they may have forgotten to mention, I am easy for them to contact.....
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've always loved animals more than I LIKE most people! :) Caring for them is uplifting, enjoyable and rewarding. Even when having a bad day, walking into a client's house to those wagging tails and purring felines turns the day around! I enjoy the flexibility of my schedule; it allows me to accommodate surprises!
