About
I specialize in something most trainers don't: helping people lose weight without losing the muscle, strength, and independence that make daily life easier. That focus matters most right now for anyone using GLP-1 or GIP medication — rapid weight loss without the right training can quietly take strength along with the fat, and that's exactly what I'm here to prevent.
Every client starts with a real in-home assessment — not a generic plan. I come to you and bring all the equipment myself, so there's no gym intimidation, no wasted time driving, and nothing you need to own or set up beforehand. Sessions are built around your body, your pace, and your goals, whether you're brand new to strength training or coming back to it after years away.
I work with adults 50+ and true beginners regularly, so if you've never lifted a weight in your life or you're worried about starting "too late," you're exactly who I built this for.
I'm based in Tucson and serve Tanque Verde, the Catalina Foothills, and Oro Valley.

Thank you to Jackson at JD Fitness Coaching for continually encouraging me to rebuild the strength and muscle tone I’ve been missing for years. Jackson is a great coach—knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to share his expertise. He makes every workout count, and his belief that I can accomplish my goals inspires me.
He’s very patient while still being focused on results. Having a coach come to my home saves me so much time. My hectic schedule is part of what kept me out of the gym, so the convenience of in-home training has made working out consistently much more doable.
After just a few weeks, I can already see and feel the difference. I highly recommend Jackson / JD Fitness Coaching.

Training with Jackson has been an absolute game changer! He brings great energy to every session, keeps workouts fun, and somehow always finds a way to push you past what you thought you could do. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and wants to see them improve, not just physically but mentally too. If you’re looking for a trainer who keeps you motivated, holds you accountable, and makes working out something you actually look forward to, I highly recommend Jackson!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every new client starts with a 45-minute In-Home Assessment for $99 through Thumbtack (regularly $175) — this covers your strength, mobility, and body composition baseline and is how every program gets built. It's not required that you commit to ongoing coaching afterward.
From there, single sessions are $150 (45 min) with no package required. For clients who want ongoing coaching, weekly plans range from $125 per session (2x/week) to $120 per session (3x/week), with an optional coaching add-on (weekly check-ins and habit guidance between sessions) available on the 2x and 3x plans.
There are no hidden fees — the price you see covers the full session, including travel to your home within Tanque Verde, the Catalina Foothills, and Oro Valley. Pricing is the same whether you're just getting started or have trained before.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring over 10 years of hands-on fitness experience, with a focus on strength training for adults navigating weight loss — including those on GLP-1/GIP medication, beginners, and clients 50 and older. My approach is built on real-world coaching: learning how bodies actually respond to training at different ages, energy levels, and stages of a weight-loss journey, and adjusting programs accordingly rather than applying a one-size-fits-all template.
