Ken at Johnston Grading stepped in and solved what felt like an impossible grading problem, all on an extremely tight timeline. I received multiple bids, and Ken’s was easily the most fair, straightforward, and transparent. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and he delivered even when unexpected issues popped up. We were struggling to sell our home because poor grading was channeling water toward the foundation. Ken designed and executed a smart solution that redirected the water cleanly away from the house, exactly what we needed. He helped me regrade my backyard which was constantly flooding from prior landscapers that changed the drainage. He was affordable especially given the level expertise provided. His crew left the yard clean and there was good communication. He is willing to work with your other trades as well. I highly recommend.

I’m extremely happy with the work Ken did to repair the sinkhole in my backyard. After reading a description of the problem, he explained how he’d go about fixing it and answered every question I had. Then, he inspected my yard himself to make sure he had the necessary equipment and material. He and his partner worked diligently until the job was complete.
