Tidy solutions came out to my home Friday. The sent out an inexperienced cleaner. She was over 30 minutes late and had to leave before the cleaning was complete, which was prior to 6:30pm. I booked a deep clean as the owner shared that my needs I described fit a deep clean. The cleaner started on the second floor, which I should have known would be a problem. Every clean I’ve had they start on the 3rd floor and work their way down. Especially to ensure my wood floors will remain clean as they mop them. She spent over 2 hours in the kitchen. She did not clean under stove but I specifically asked for a deep clean of the stove and oven. The floors were not mopped but she used a swiffer. My glass tables still had smudges and apparently she wife the coffee table twice. She did not vacuum inside or outside of the couch. My desk and monitor were not wiped down or dusted. Same with the tv and tv stand in the living room. In the bedroom the tvs and dressers were not wiped. The mirrors on my daughter’s dresser, my vanity and standing mirror were untouched. These are typical things done in a standard clean. The basement only was vacuum and stopped because the owner claimed the cleaner was concerned about weed smoke. The basement was aired out with a humidifier on and blunt spray sprayed. It felt like she made this excuse up so her cleaner could leave at 6:30p. I ended the clean then and there as it was so much back and forth throughout the clean. I was promised my floors would be hand cleaned when I complained about the swiffer. I also was told the couch would be cleaned and under stove. That didn’t happen. My house didn’t smell clean at all. The cleaner was clearly new and took breaks. Breaks for what when it wasn’t sparkling. When my boyfriend told her we wouldn’t pay the $280 (originally it was $300 & she took off $20 for the cleaner being late), she offered $150. I told her if she gets to the basement and completes it including the bathroom fine. But as I put before she shared her cleaner was concerned about smoke when we took efforts to ensure that would be no issue. Then after I ended the clean, she harassed me about payment when I told her I would pay once I parked. I’m pregnant and she can wait. I’m already livid as I wanted help with my home. I paid her but I will never get another service from Nicole at Tidy Clean. She doesn’t conduct business well and told the cleaner my home was partial deep clean but our messages never say that. The experience was very disappointing. Honestly wish I didn’t pay a thing but some things were done just very bare minimum. Side note: it was hard to take a picture of the glass tables wasn’t showing what it actually looked like for me. But yea they need to do no better and train people how to clean and make beds properly.
