Hello! My name is Waqar Ahmed, and I studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Driven by a commitment to continuous growth and learning, my goal is to contribute to the development of technological solutions for the betterment of society. I'm always excited to take on new tasks that allow me to use my technical abilities and creativity to make a positive impact. I have a strong passion for software development, and I'm always looking for opportunities to grow my skills and knowledge in the industry. I have interned at organizations such as BTG Construction and Boosted Biz, where I played integral roles in backend and frontend engineering projects, including developing an AI chatbot, and helping create and launch full stack web applications. These experiences not only honed my technical capabilities but also deepened my understanding of the dynamic field of software engineering. In addition to my internships, I serve as an undergraduate teaching assistant at UIC. This position has not only allowed me to enhance the educational experiences of my fellow students, but it has also improved my leadership and communication abilities. I have a strong commitment to continuing my professional development, and am always looking for new opportunities to make a positive impact in the tech industry and society at large.
