- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the time, materials, and level of care that go into handcrafted calligraphy and engraving. Most projects have a minimum, and live event services are booked with an event minimum rather than an hourly rate. Travel outside of Modesto may include a mileage fee, and rush timelines can require an expedited fee. To secure your date or project in my calendar, I require a 50% retainer, with the remaining balance due before completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out, I’ll gather details about your project — what you’re envisioning, the quantity, timeline, and any personalization details. From there, I’ll provide a clear quote and next steps. After the retainer is received, your project is officially booked. I’ll confirm final wording and details before beginning, and I stay in communication throughout so everything feels seamless and stress-free.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a professionally trained calligrapher and engraver with years of hands-on experience in luxury events, weddings, and brand activations. I’ve invested in continued education through workshops, mentorships, and industry programs focused on fine lettering, engraving techniques, and creative business best practices.
